Pasta Salad

Pasta salad made with gemelli noodles (I think I am obsessed with gemelli noodles lately), mixed vegetables and chickpeas with a side of tomato bread garlic toast. Salad dressing made with vegenaise, dill relish, salt, pepper, parsley, mustard and a touch of ketchup.

You are addicted to gemelli noodles! They have a really neat shape. I should try them. Your pasta salad looks divine.

I really like gemelli noodles! Funny, I don't remember ever seeing them in Canada but they're everywhere here. Though I couldn't find tri-colour fusilli. Gemelli noodles are neat because they're kind of fat in the middle so they're fun to eat. If that makes sense...

Now I just have to look for gemelli pasta. They sound yummy and squishy.

In the meantime I've been addicted to casarecce. Here's a description from Barilla's website:

"Casarecce ... have an original spinning shape that stays curved on the edges, reminding us of ancient scrolls. This delicate sheltered design makes them ideal to huddle inside them, as in a treasure chest, all the preciousness of traditional Mediterranean sauces. The smooth porous surface offers a perfect support also for delicate vegetable sauces."

I don't think I've ever seen gemelli noodles either now that you mention it!
